TATIANA Grigorieva has gone from pole vault champion to gelato queen.

Grigorieva and partner Plamen Milanov have opened Caffé E Gelato Milany at Racecourse Rd, Hamilton.

Milanov makes gelato in the kitchen while Grigorieva fashions it into cocktails with chocolate and fruit.

The silver medallist from the 2000 Sydney Olympics said she wanted to open the café after getting a taste for European delicacies during her travels.
