Women's pole vault world record holder Yelena Isinbayeva will make her US debut at the 100th anniversary of New York's Millrose Games, organisers said on Thursday.
The 24-year-old Russian - who is the Olympic, world and European champion - will appear at the event held on February 2nd.
She became the first woman to vault five metres in July 2005 and has broken the world record 19 times.
Her outdoor record of 5.01 metres was set on her way to world championship gold in Helsinki in 2005 and Isinbayeva also holds the indoor mark of 4.91, which she cleared in February this year.
