best thing you can do. NO SODA EVER, it actually burns my throat now. that includes diet soda, thats worse for you than normal soda. very basicaly the less processed it is the healthier it is for you. if you can pick it off a tree or throw it on a fire and eat it its healthy(no smores). if its highly processed such as most candies and cereals and stuf then its not as healthy. the clsoer to nature the better.
your stomach is about the size of your fist naturaly. it increases or decreases in size according to your eating ahbits but it should be fist sized if your healthy. the best meal plan is to have a fist sized meal every few hours, have around 4-5 meals a day instead of 3 big ones. this will keep your metabolism going longer and it will help your stomach to shrink, or enlarge, to a healthy size.
i dont drink anything other than water. like i said before the closer to nature it is the better, my diet(not the best cause i hate fruits and vegetables) consists of lots of meats and carbs. im a wreslter and gettin ready to cut weight so all i eat is fish GRILLED chicken and rice. NOTHING FRIED is very import. fried foods are high in oil anf fat plus my friend used to work at KFC and they piss in the deep frier. grilled is a lot better, if its grilled on an actual grill its even better cause some of the fat will drip out and it will taste better. the reason mcdonalds hamburgers are s*** is cause theyre cooked on a sheet of metal. this causes all the fat to sit in it and makes it more unhealthy and taste worst. I wouldnt drink any juices like fruit juice or anything that says from concentrate. any natural squeezed juices are fine however waters the best.
Another import note is to make sure you get enough salt and water. If you piss a lot or if you piss yellow your probably not gettin enough salts or enough water. the salt will help you to retain the water, and if your a wrestler like me and need to lose weight fast you cut the salt on wed for a sat meet and youll lose 10 lbs by sat. theres more to it than that but thats the basics for those who care. anyways the salt also gives your body electorlytes(the stuff in gatorade) and sodium and helps your brain to function better. dont have to much though cause it will screw your heart over and dehydrate you. The more water the better, long as you dont dilute your blood which is bad and will kill you. Dont have 8 galons in an hour cause thats just stupid but around 2 gallons a day is a healthy amount. i walk around school with a gallon jug of water during wrestling season cause its so important to stay hydrated.
CARBS MEATS CARBS AND WATER best thing for you. through in some fruits nad vegetables if you want but be careful cause not all of them are healthy.
now for the most important part. DO NOT SKIP ANY MEALS EVER!!!!!!!! if you miss one or 2 a week no big deal but if you miss lunch everyday your metabolism will slow down and youll feel like s*** cause you wont have any energy and anything you eat will be automatically converted to fat. I think the best thing about little kids is they eat wen tehyre hungry and stop wen theyre full. never force yourself to keep eating no matter how good it tastes. its hard but thats one of the biggest injustices we did to kids in america. clean your plate cause obesity and i stand by that lol.
example of daily eating habits:
mornig pancake or waffle, little to no syrup or eggs
snack protein bar or grain bar
lunch grilled chicken or fish sandwich
after practice protein shake and gatorade
dinner pasta, steak, chicken, etc.
after practice around 15-30 min it is imprtant to have a gatorade because that is the optimal time to absorb all the nutrients in it. it will give you your energy back for the rest of the day. around 15 min after the gatorade(best time) or 30-60min after practice have some form of protein, either a bar or shake or chicken or anything. This is the time were your muscles will get the most out of wat you put in it.
well thats the basics of my diet that i put together throughout xcountry wrestling and track.
just remember you get back wat you put in.
