I need to replace the foam in the top pad of a backyard pit. Any suggestions on where to purchase foam padding?

Looking for a supplier near Southern California

Thanks Rhino I will check out AAA however I am located in Southern California so it would be better if I could find a supplier on the west coast.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Top padding

I had to replace/add to the padding in the top pad of our backyard pit. I went to the local Army Navy store who had foam rubber sheets. I was going to glue them together but the way my cover is made, it would have made that seem like impossible. It has only a back edge zipper not quite the whole width of the pad. To fold up the pad, insert it and successfully unfold it in the right shape seemed beyond my abitity. So I just inserted the pads and I keep adjusting them as they tend to shift after a few sessions. It definitely isn't the best and I've been thinking about solutions.

Two ideas I've been think about: 1) get the thinner carpet pad foam and use multiple layers turned different directions so there are no seams all the way through. It has the added feature of being wider than those foam sheets roughly the size of a single bed. By using multiple layers I could eventually get the desired thickness. 2). While we were at Bell's this summer, I noticed that his top pad had zippers on three sides. If I could 'lay open' the top fabric I could glue the pads together the way the factory does, position them easily and well and merely zipper the fabric back over the foam. Viola! The disadvantage is taking the pad off and emptying it and taking the fabric to an upholsterer to sew in the new zippers. Bell has the sewing machines. I didn't ask but could see that he could have designed his that way on purpose. Those guys are really clever and creative at Bell and they make a lot of the stuff they use. Chances are they have the right ideas.

Thanks PVDad! I will check out the Army surplus store. I like the idea of zippers on 3 sides. My cover is like yours.
