figures coming from colorado, haha. I remember a girl from i think.... mississippi at USATF indoor nationals who was in 8th grade and ran 4:58 or something ridiculous like that. WHen they anounced her for her award they had to say "from *Blank* Middle school" rather than "from *blank* high school". lol it was nuts.

I think i know who you are talking about, she's been to some of our meets, and she's crazy fast.

The girl from colorado was...just a sec i'm looking it up...Kaitie Vanatta in 4 minutes, 56.08 seconds...I'd say she has a future in the sport! AND I think this shows even more: She, after catching her breath, shook each girl finishing's hand...(according to one of the newspapers...) That's pretty awesome.
