Regarding run-thru...
What rules was this meet sanctioned for USATF "OPEN" or USATF "YOUTH"?

The NSIC in NYC was conducted under USATF "OPEN" rules. The outdoor version of this meet (held at the moment in Greensboro, NC) also uses USATF "OPEN" rules.
There are no run-thru's permitted no matter how many heights the competitor passes. The "chief" official should know this long before the athletes arrive.
Yes, that can be a killer if you have to wait long periods of time due to a large field. Finding a decent place to warm up at an indoor facility is a challange.

Could meet management change this? Maybe, but I doubt they would.

If so, I can't seem to find any link to vaulting video. (Maybe I'm just senile  )

USATF Rules allow for one run through for each three heights passed but must be taken as earned not cumulative.

Higherflyer: you are absolutely correct.. if we are talking about "Youth" or "Masters" exceptions to the USATF "Open" rules. Some meets you might jump at could be using the one of these exceptions.

The question was regarding what rules were being used at the NIN and what rules were used at the NSIC. I stated USATF "OPEN" rules were used at the NSIC and therefore, no warmup jumps are allowed after the competition begins.

Maybe I assumed too much and should have explictly stated USATF "Open" rules in my response. Regardless, good research on the topic.
