smaller companies will get RATIONING OF foam for their LANDING SYSTEMS
You may need to order your PV and HJ pits now before the shortage hits all manufactuers.

quoted from a letter from a foam supplier
A shortage of foam products and a 20% increase in foam on the way to suppliers.
As you may have heard, Hurricane Rita has created significant disruption in the supply chain for various raw materials used in the production of flexible polyurethane foams. Virtually all of the suppliers of urethane chemicals have been affected by plant shut downs, reduced operating capacity or significant logistics disruptions.

Our number one priority is to maintain supply to our current customer base based on recent requirements and foam fabricators will not be accepting any new business in the meantime. Our suppliers are working diligently to safely return to normal production and supply levels but we expect this situation to last a few more months.

Ordering early and increasing order lead times with our plants. This will allow for better planning and supply management across our manufacturing platform.

Some manufacturers may have problems with foam but I just talked to my friends at Gill and they will not have any problems with price or availability of foam so you can go to First To The Finish to get your pit needs taken care of with no problems. We will have good turn around times and great prices on all High Jump and Pole Vault Landing Systems.
