Covington Louisiana

Good morning

Prior to Katrina I was presented with a job opportunity by a company in Covington Louisiana (which is across the Bay from New Orleans) After Katrina and now Rita the opportunity is still available, even more so than before.

Now the question is about housing. The company of course is searching for me through standard means, but with FEMA coming in and the evacuees, etc, it is no easy task.

My dilemma is that I am not allowed into the area even to look for permanent housing unless I have housing.
