The shorts and white top version I guess I could deal with. The speed suit is a little fruity, though.

Then again, so are all speed suits. I've never been a big fan of them.

And I still think the unis are sweet.

I think it is "Okay, here's your uniform." or uniforms. I think if nike gave me free equipment I'd be like thanks and wear it. Just like I do at school with stuff we get here.

Assuming we have all heard about the "sweatshops" that NIke uses, would anyone feel strongly enough to turn down a sponsorship from NIKE because of the usage of sweatshop labor overseas?

I've only head reports of nike using the child labor in sweatshops, but has anyone heard of other companies using sweatshops? like adidas, reebok, new balance, asics.....???

God, putting politics asides, my family happens to be from the Philippines, Guam, and other Polynisian and Micronisian Islands where they have these sweat shops. True, they put children to work, but if you have ever seen Manila or other slums in the 3rd world countries u would understand. These children CANT be in school there families cant afford it, true they dont get paid our 6.75 minimum wage, but if they did, stagflation and economic instability would follow. Its like McDonalds giving workers 25 bucks an hour...think of what would follow. And yes other companies use sweat shopes, most likely what u wear was made by a child unless u made it urself. If you would like to argue with me, please go to my homeland and see that half of the 7 million philippinons in Manila there are in poverty and if it wasnt for the companies they would be much worse off. If you yourself can help the whole socio-economic climate, please do, but dont put their situation on the same level as us, last time i checked, we did the same thing during the industrial revolution.

I think all male pole vaulter should wear speedsuits...It looks weird when the wind catches in your shorts when you're falling...speedsuits are fierce ;)

..and on that note, i think the speedsuits look nice (but the color does seem a little unrepresentative)
