short pegs
I don't think they are talking about making the pegs even shorter, just discussing the current (55cm) rule.
High jump standards (pegs?) are not affected by this rule.
I don't have my rule books with me, but there are some items that need to be clarified. I am not sure what the new rules are for cross bar ends. I belive, but am not sure, that colegiate/HS bars can still have square ends, but that the IAAF rule requires that there be only 1 flat surface.
I'll look into that tommrow, but if someone knows the answer fell free to let the rest of us know.

Eric Eshbach
Whoa Nellie! Eric Eshbach @ 5.53M/18-01.75! Last year Eric’s performances started to fade toward the end of the indoor season. This year he appears to be peaking at just the right time! Was well over 18-01.75!
