Underrated tool:

Clamps that you can use as a bar putter-upper by attaching them to the end of your pole. I don't know who came up with it first, but I learned it from Davie Johnston. Knowing Davie, it's possible that he thought of it first.

Would it be a safe assumption that Dave Johnston has thought of about 80% of everything to do with the vault? seriously. Anytime you think you've got an original idea, Dave had it in the 70s.

I want pole vault cheerleaders for Christmas. Nothing like georgous women in bikinis and heels calling your name during practice and meets.
Yeah, this year, I want some of them. I want the model model tho.

It'd be pretty sweet to have one that could work with your push off. That be pretty much a huge one. Just think.. tim mack could get like a 9 foot push off

I highly recommend Becca's Pole Vault Training Log as a great present or stocking stuffer for pole vaulters at any skill level. As usual, Becca put a lot of thought into the design and the packaging of the product.
