My new ESSX Poles

Unread postby tim hutzley » Sun Jun 20, 2004 8:39 pm

I just jumped on my new ESSX poles yesterday and They are awesome. They get a really good high bend and then unbend quick so it tosses you over the bar just like a good pole is supposed to. And they are crazy light I think my smaller one is like 3.5 lbs and its a 15'. I was holding about 13'8" on it and was getting over 15. Im not saying that ESSX poles are the best poles but they are the best ones ive got.
For anyone else who has jumped on essx like Scott Duckworth, what do you think?

I really like the Essx poles also. They work very well for me - they feel a bit easier to get in on and then come back better than other poles I have used. Nice high bend makes the swing a bit easier. I PRed the first day I used them - 15'9" - so I was pretty well hooked from day 1. I still carry one of my old Pacer Carbons - they are nice poles also, but I prefer the Essx. For me they seem to work best.

probably 85% of our schools poles are Altius poles and the other ones we've just randomly accumulated somehow.

I think they are excellent poles. for me at least,t hey felt different than the other poles i had been using, and seemed to give me more kick. sadly i progressed through both of mine in a span of 2 weeks :deadrose:
What have you done today to get better?

I've grown used to UCS, and I've only used a pacer pole beyond the UCS, and I didn't like the pacers at all.

perhaps sometime I'll give Essx a try, if Hoogie even has any around what I need, haha.
