Russ is amassing a good collection of old poles - black cats, yellow cats, even a real sweet browning sky pole with the multi weight label at the top - plus a few light blue sky poles -
Plant like crap sometimes ok most times

I have one of those old browning silaflex skypoles - found it behind a pool, was probly sittin there for 10+ years. now all its good for is tearin apart to make pv apparatuses as well as launching bottle rockets and mortars out of.

use the chart...use "piston" action strides (ball of the foot stricking under the hips) over the last 4 to six strides and you will plant better..

DJ, good to see ya on this message board. I thought I'd take this opportunity to tell you I enjoyed your visit to UT the past few weeks and really appreciate all your input. It brought the "chart" to life for me. I also was really glad to see Mack's reaction to seeing you when he returned from Japan and the games. Looking forward to seeing you again at the Florida Invite.

They have a nice return on them

They are not as fast as the carbons. I would say they return similar to the old pacers. Fast, but not as fast as the Carbons

Good poles

I jumped pretty good on those yellow cats. I was messing around one time on my 14 180 yellow cat and I was holding low (12'10) and It shot me up there to make a 15 ft bar. I have always liked those poles.
