I found it interesting that the west region has the northern most host site of the 4. I guess after last yrs MISERABLE weather at the Ohio State Regional they kept them all down south.

Wasn't that bad.. we went indoors! :) I thought the worst part was the delays due to problems with the standards.

I had heard the weather was worse at the East regional, but never confimed. Do you know?

Conference champion probably. They also make it to the regional meet, no matter what they jumped.

They rotate the location of the regional championships each year. Last year all the regionals were in the middle of the north and south, this year they are in the south, and next year they will be in the northern part of each region.
