5.10 poles

Unread postby VTechVaulter » Fri May 07, 2004 10:48 am

Does anyone know if pacer can make carbonfx poles in a 5.10m length. I am currently on 5.0m running out of what we have. Im jumping on a 5.0 14.8 holding about 4.90. I am gonna order a 14.2 and a 13.8 just in case i get juiced at regionals/hopefully nationals. But i think for next year I will try to move up my grip a bit, seeing as im pretty tall and fast. But a 5.20 poles seems a bit absurd. So, anyone know of a 5.10 poles?? Thanks guys.

Yea Pacer makes Carbon FX 5.10 poles. Tommy's got himself a series up to 11.8 on them. Those things are sewer pipes!

how do those numbers for the quadra carbons compare to carbonfx numbers. And also, what would be the chances of getting say a 15.4 flex 5.0m pole for free just for comparison sake :D . I have an identical carbon fx so id be curious to see how they compare. VT will be purchasing 5-6 5.10m poles come summer time.

ESSX does not give away free poles but you can call us we can talk about a program that will work for your College direct.
NCAA and NFHS rules really do not allow the comp of free poles to athletes.

We really do not wish to hurt an athlete’s eligibility.

Nike pays millions of dollars for our football team to just wear their jerseys. I think that I Pole company can give free poles to the UNIVERSITY for a specific athlete.

Now if you're talking about giving poles directly to the athlete, then yes, that would be a violation if the ahtlete is in Highschool or College.

But it think that VTvaulter is asking if a pole can be given to the university for him, which is perfectly legal.

Just wanted to clarify as I was confused by that post.

And maybe his coach should be taking care of that over the phone, this message board is not really the place to ask for stuff like that.

or maybe i just meant it in jest. hence the smily. first off, i dont really believe i jump high enough to be considered for receiving donations to the school. and second, my coach doesn't really believe in giving americans scholarships, so i gotta make him spend some money on me. :P
