Borrowing Poles from colleges
I'm not having much luck finding the poles i'm looking for at the high school level. Has anyone on here ever borrowed a pole from a college? I'm trying to find out the best way to contact them. Will most colleges let high schools borrow poles?

that could be a REAL touchy topic, if a High school athlete gets any "special" help from a college, it could be considered 'birbery.' The NCAA has so many rules about that its hard to know whats right or wrong. I dont see it as a real big deal, but the NCAA will most likely look at it otherwise.

You are correct. The NCAA has rules against "loaning/giving" equipment to HS athletes. THEN most univ have policies against selling used equipment (liability issues).

i find it's best to be dishonest.. borrow, and never tell.. oh, but, make sure that when you're vaulting at a meet with those poles.. have the sticker of the college that you borrowed from taped on the pole.. but, deny that it's their's.. if only for your own personal "HA"
