Equipment Grants
...searching for grants for a high school, can anyone point me in the right direction and narrow the search?

I haven't heard of any for high schools, sorry. I recommend doing fundraisers.

Has anyone tried the usatf foundation?
Aside from that... depending on where you are located, you can try to enlist the help of local coaches and programs. It depends on what you need. Last year we had a coach in the area that sold his entire inventory of poles (30 of them) to a school which was starting up its program for a couple thousand dollars... hard to find a grant which is gonna beat those numbers.
Raising money for pole vault equipment is a long process... you never have what you need to start and by the time you have all the poles needed for a great athlete, they are moving on to college.
