Morning,

Nice jump, congratulations on the PR.

What I see... starts with your run. Your running technique has nice high knees something that is desired, however looks like you are sitting in a chair while you are running. When runners have nice high knees but something looks strange it has to do with their push off. They are not pushing off each step enough or finishing each step, when that push off happens it pulls the tucked pelvis/hips into a lower position, which is generally counter what people hear/want. When the step is finished the hips are placed into a slightly different position and a forward lean is a tick easier to achieve. The forward lean will then help you at take off with your step and energy transfer. You are moving well, and you are not in the chair through your whole run, now its just a matter cleaning up your running technique, and making the continuity of your run solid.

Using the pole to your advantage more will also help. It looks like you have about a 2L pole drop. If you can time that out to 3Ls, and allow your body to get pulled into those last 6 steps, iI think your take off angle will be better, and hips will be better placed. In the vault, if i was there coaching you, i would tell you... if you could fold back a tick more, back onto the runway side of the pole before you start your pull through, then I would like to see you tug a tick more on the right shoulder for the pull through.... again congratulations on the PR...

cheers,
bel
