Murer WR Chances?

Unread postby jcoover » Fri Mar 26, 2010 12:01 pm

Is anyone else here confident that Fabiana Murer is going to take some serious shots at the outdoor WR this year? I dont know how many of you have seen this:

Her jumps at 4.75m and 4.80m are very convincing clearances. Give that girl a tailwind and another pole or two and she is going to be rocking and rolling. She has it dialed in right now and I think she will put together some very big results soon.

I think she'll join the 4.90+ club this year, but I don't see her taking any super close shots at the WT.

i certainly agree that she'll be the next female member of the 16' club. Probably the 5m club too, but not sure about the WR. I mean, she probably has close to 9" in her 4.75 clearance (that's about 4.90-ish) So I wouldn't be surprised if she jumped 16' soon. Go Murer!! -6P

I agree, she's not loading the pole very much.

I could see both Murer and Feo jumping 4.90+ this year, but a WR seems a little out there. Then again, stranger things have happened.

I really don't think she'll set a new WR this year, I was just pointing out that I wouldn't be surprised if she put together a few decent attempts at it this outdoor season.

I think she will jump 90-95 and at least scare isi by making her watch as she attempts a new WR.

Well the question is if she would attempt the WR or 5 meters first?

Slim to none and Slim just left town.

Great vaulter. Nice girl. Not Lena.
