Nike Zoom TJ 2

Unread postby jarno_k » Tue Jan 05, 2010 2:12 pm

I would love to hear some comments on how these spikes feel. Are they like Nike Zoom TJ 1's, Long Jump III's, PV lite 2's or somewhere in between all those? I know they are a bit heavier than PV lite 2's.

i would try to e-mail Derek Miles. Nike gave these shoes to their athletes last year AT world championships, so nobody relaly wore them, but I know dereks been training in them this year. He could give you a really good review i bet

Not sure if the spike Derek used at Millrose is the TJ2 or not, but it seems like it's possible.

From what I can tell the contour of the spike plate is more akin to the old red and white TJ/PV spikes than the TJI's from last year. I'm in the market for some new ones as well, and if these are anything like my ol' red and white's i'd be more than happy to shell out the extra $$ for them. I had two pairs of the TJ/PV spikes and they were the most comfortable shoes i've ever owned. Yeah, i said shoes, not just spikes.

I'll keep looking for reviews and post them on here if I find anything useful.
Whether you believe you can or cannot, you're right.
