I also checked to see how far it is from us....11 hours! It would depend upon what time what day of the weekend....don't know if we can do that without her being worn out just getting there! :P

Cowboy Up!!

McNeese is scary until you get accustomed to it, but there have been some big jumps in there. Jacob Davis jumped 17'6" in high school at that place. The box is at a normal angle now and if Russ got rollout like he wanted then it will be smokin' fast. The basketball goals are not a problem anymore.

Oh, nothing really. The runway goes down the middle of two basketball courts dead center on the lower level. The oval part of the track is upstairs so you have people running around you and staring down at you when you vault. On a good jump you are as high as the track level. Other than that it is just Crazy Cajuns hanging from the rafters.

I took some kids out there last january. At that time, there were no spikes allowed on one of those smooth rubberized floors that was really slippery from the dust. The pit was kind of small too. Russ told me last year though that they were getting rollout, so the runway should be fine if they did. The box seemed ok. It is weird with the elevated track, but we jumped ok there.

I spoke to Ryan last night and Russ thinks the new runway should be in in a couple of weeks.....

While in South LA, you should look out for great seafood, fun competitions and plenty of "les bon temp roulee"!!!!!
