Colleges on the East Coast

Unread postby tfb » Tue Apr 15, 2008 10:22 pm

I am a high school junior and my current PR is 10'9" (im a girl). I have recently begun to research colleges and I am looking for any imput on colleges on the east coast with good vaulting programs. My father works for Syracuse University, so I am able to get basically free tuition to the following schools that are part of the Tuition Exchange program:

https://www.tuitionexchange.org/partinst.cfm

If anyone knows which of these schools have a good coach and are good schools academically, please let me know. I don't want to limit my search to just these schools, so I would still appreciate any suggestions of colleges that aren't on this list. Academics are also really important to me, I have a 99 GPA and Im 2nd in my class, so I would like to go to an academically competitive school, but I dont know what I would like to major in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What field are you specifically looking to get into. Law, engineering, nursing, business, education?

My gosh, as someone who went to state school mainly because of finances, I truly admire and envy the options at your disposal.

you should think about kinesiology and biomechanics. Has the biology of sports medicine and the physics of engineering into one. Thats why im so interested in it.
