This is hands down the best book on pole vault ever written!

Unread postby agapit » Wed Feb 06, 2008 8:29 pm

I have received the new edition of the Beginner to Bubka two days ago and finished it in one evening. This is a huge step up from the first edition. The understanding of the Modern pole vault model and historic perspective make this book truly the most comprehensive reference on pole vault ever written.

In my opinion if you are going to discuss further pole vault topics and you did not read this book you are like a cave man in the 21st century unaware that people have landed on the moon.

I must congratulate Alan with a phenomenal achievement.

Amazing!

Wow. Just browsed through it. It is far, far, far better than the first edition. Much more detail and probably twice as long.

When i flipped to page viii, I thought, "dang, that is one homely girl." then I read the caption and realized it was a teenage Paul Burgess.

Buy it now from PVP if for no other reason than Becca's better looking than the other two sellers. :P

Just watched the DVD. Best vault DVD ever. Period.

Good choice of music during the Isinbayeva training session. Glad to see there's at least one other Kruder & Dorfmeister fan out there.

Rick Baggett, I would defend you, but when they are right what can I say?

I think, and righfully so, that if I were to agree with your last statement, Rick, you would need to have my head examined.
