Jamboree @ Renton

Mike Bauknecht Peninsula - 13'

Katy Six Peninsula - 9'

PRs for both from just a 5 left run thanks to a VERY forgiving crossbar. :)

Wes should be able to start practicing next Thursday. His knee surgery ended up not being for the injury he sustained during wrestling, He got an MRI done on it after he got hurt and it ended up showing a minor tear in his meniscus, but also showed he had no cartilage in his knee! They had to go in and clean out all the leftover cartilage pieces and did something else to try to reform the cartilage in his knee.

I hope that Wes recovers more rapidly than I did from that surgery. I had it done in November and still have pain when I walk. I have been able to run about 5 days since then pain free and am now going to another surgeon to see why it still hurts.

Cedarcrest and Lakewood at Granite Falls

Boys
Kyle Hamilton Ced 11'6
Nic Caldwell Lakewood 11' 0
Peter Arsenal granite falls 8' 0
Payden Butler Lakewood 8' 0

Kyle hit 12'6 3 times on the way up with the stiffest pole we brought with us, we left the bigger poles at home. That won't happen again.

Girls
Janica Hoidel Lakewood 7' 6
Bre Decker Cedarcrest 7' 0
Sam Stevens Cedarcrest 7' 0

My two girls didn't jump well, they were so caught up in trying to beat each other they didn't focus on jumping. We will see what happens for the rest of the year.
