Hi,
Does anyone have recommendations for good suppliers to use for buying poles in mainland Britain?
We have a reasonable size of squad, and use a range of makes, models and sizes of pole. Of course, we need to refresh our bank and also to build upon it as vaulters' needs develop and as poles break or get so "used" they become almost unusable. Probably quite a familiar story.
Not surprisingly, most of the traffic here relates to USA-based pole sales. We're keen to find suppliers that can provide poles to specified flexes at reasonable prices to Britain. As we already have a wide range of poles, and haven't yet decided on our "standard" replacement/new pole model, we're quite flexible and would take any advice on board. These are intended as squad poles, and so we're happy to accept a compromise between price and performance.
Finally, is anyone in Britain looking to sell poles that are in good condition, particularly smaller poles? Our 12'-ish poles are being heavily use, and we only have a few of those. We're also looking to supplement in the 14' & 15' ranges, probably between about 140lb & 170lb.
Many thanks for any advice, suggestions or offers.

This article is almost 4 years old, but as far as I know, Nordic Poles (a Swedish mfr of PV poles and other equipment) is still a going concern.
But you're probably already aware of their product line and availability in Great Britain.
Here's their website: http://www.nordicsport.com/blog/category/Pole%20Vault
There should also be some distributors of American mfr poles in Europe, but I don't know who/where they are. If there aren't any, there should be!
