Central Kitsap Invitational

Wes King - 14'

We're only running from 5 lefts and he was gripping 13' 6" on a 14' 3" 175 Altuis. He had 3 good jumps at 14' 7", but we've still got some takeoff and technique issues to work out. All in all, a good first meet. Not bad for a kid who broke his leg a few months ago.

Peninsula vs Tyee

Wes King (P) - 14' 7" PR
Mike Bauknecht (P) - 12' PR
Mark Massey (P) - 10' =PR
Zach Martin (P) - 9' 6"
Rick Dingman (P) - 8'

Laura Jones (P) - 7' 6" PR
Magan Stang - (P) 7' PR
Carli Speer (P) - 6' 6" PR
Lacey Boren (P) - 6' 6"
Amber Williams (P) - 6' 6" PR

Wes is still at 5 lefts and actually didn't have a good technical day, but we got on the next stick in our line (15' 170 skypole gripping down at 13' 9"). He's taking off kind of low and is having some issues with his swing, but once we get those figured out and back to our full run, watch out! Mike is looking better too. He's still basically sitting over bars, so once he figures out how to swing like he does in our drills, he'll go 13' - 14' easy.
