long time vaulter and an amazing friend of mine, Sandi Morris won The junior olympic national championship today! Sandi competed against many great female vaulters including morgan leluex and future teamate Merrit VanMeter to win the title. She won the competition with a vault of 13' 3.5" and from what i was told was about a foot over it! sandi has been working for more than 4 extensive years training for moments like this. She deserves this more than anyone i know.
