Any cleaners I should avoid for poles

Unread postby kindyr » Thu Apr 23, 2009 12:02 am

I just was able to pick up some poles for use in my game, and there are several spots where tape has been applied for grip.

I'd like to remove the tape to get down as close as possible to bare pole. Anybody got cleaner recommendations, or at least cleaners to avoid?

Thanks

Not many chemicals will damage a fiberglass poles. Acetone works well for removing old residue (or anything else) from a pole. You can also use paint scrapers and just scrape it off.
