A number of the Club’s athletes were in action at the London Indoor Games at Lee Valley. Perhaps the highlight here was a new over UK over 55s record in the pole vault from the evergreen Allan Williams, who represented Great Britain at the Moscow Olympics in 1980. He made a clearance of 3.81.

Allan has been and remained consistent at a high level over the years. GREAT - now I've got to deal with him in my age group.
