Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Thu Apr 10, 2008 2:15 am

This is bad news for us vaulters. It goes up to $100* and down to two poles! *It says "per pole"!!! It is a new rule this year...

We should look into shipping options from Denver.

Vaulting poles
Allowance/Requirements
One case holding a maximum of two poles.

Cost*
Travel before May 5, 2008:
$85.00 USD per pole
Travel on/after May 5, 2008:
$100.00 USD per pole

Maximum length
16ft/487cm

Other information:
Allow an extra 30 minutes at check-in.

If travel includes United Express, please contact United for information regarding aircraft cargo hold limits.

sounds like they are limiting it to two poles to keep the weight down. Yay, high gas prices!
