coaching question

Unread postby southernvaulter » Thu Mar 13, 2008 8:58 am

I am trying to vault for NC State next year, but all the coach will tell me is that they do not have a pole vault program at this time because there is no pole vault coach. I know that they have all the necessary equipment , so that is not an issue. I was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible for athletes to get certified as coaches. If this is possible, how am I supposed to go about getting certified?

There is no pole vault coach certification in college, it's just up to the head coach what they want to do.
