I am building one for my senior project and found these cool plans online. It doesnt look very hard and it is alot cheaper then buying one for 12,000 dollars online. :D I was very happy

That is so funny, I was thinking about making a post about them. I want one at King's, and they told me to get a quote, so definitely keep me posted on the process.

I think Peaslee and I would both love feedback from other people who have experience building their own pit garage.

I already know I am going to need bigger wheels than what the Gill diagram calls for, because our pit is on grass and a lot of uneven surface.

we tried getting the school to foot the bill for materials and have the shop class build one for us, but like everything else we try, they shot us down after intially agreeing to it.... :(
