Gibilisco has passed his third attempt.

The sold out stadium is very loud.

Straub misses his second.

Lewis misses his second. 5.75 is a PR if he makes it.

Dossevi makes on his second attempt! He moves into third.

Lavillenie is out of the medals unless he clears (and clears again!)

That was a season best for Dossevi and it tied his PR.

That was a big jump for Dossevi! If he jumps like that at 5.80 he can make it!

The heavy favorite Lavillenie avoids a meltdown and stays alive... he is in 4th and needs to clear at least one more height to medal, but hopefully he has worked the kinks out now...

Straub misses and is out. No medals for the Germans in either pole vault :deadrose:

Lewis out at 5.75. Can't fault him, that would have been a PR if he made it...

Bar now going to 5.80. Hooker passes again!

4 vaulters cleared the last height, so currently Mazuryk in the lead, Gripich in second, Dossevi in third, and Lavillenie in fourth.

Gibilisco has one attempt at this height and Mesnil two.

well looks like we won't see hooker for a while.. he passed 5.80.. if enough people clear you think he's going to pass 5.85?
