What pole should I buy.

Unread postby Djones » Mon Mar 20, 2006 9:49 am

Hey everyone this is my first time posting.

Im trying to figuare out which pole would be best for me to buy. I vaulted last year on a 13'6 175 skypole and i was just about bending that to its limit. I gain a little weight and the only pole we have at my school is a really old 15'6 185. My PR is 13'6 and i was looking at buying one of the following

14'7 180 ESSX carbon custom

14'6 180 Skypole

14'6 - 15'0 180 CarbonFX

I've been leaning more to the carbons but still havent decided. I want to make sure that if i spend that much money I i buy the right pole.Any advice you can give me would be helpful, and if you know of any different poles that would be better let me know. Thank you for your time

You are basically on a 14'6" 155. You need a 14' 170 or 175. That's ~ a 13'7" 178 - 183
Fight the good fight: It's nice to be great but it's far greater to be nice.

I'd go for the 14'6 180 Skypole. that is what I am using now, and i jump 15 :) (i also weigh 175-ish)
