I was just wondering, where can you purchase grip tape for vaulting?

If you are just looking for regular white athletic tape, you can get it at a drug store or a sporting goods store.

Or u can say u need tape for ur wrist, and they will give u at least a couple of rolls if u dont like stealin. Usually by the end of the week i would have like 9 rolls of tape that would last...a week, lol. And our trainer keeps it in a box that says "used athletic tape" i guess that is there lil "secret"

our trainer keeps the tape locked up in the cabinet with the other stuff :( , when we ask all we'll get are the leftovers from taping ankles and stuff.

I buy black "friction tape" from the hardware store (also available at WalMart, etc.).

I always make nice with the trainer at the beginning of the season and let him know that I'll be bugging him from time to time about needing tape for our poles. Just ask nicely and they're more than likely going to give it to you. I usually just grab the 1/2 rolls that are laying around everywhere in the training room.

i like to tape my poles sticky side out for better grip. I buy colored tape (usually yellow ACE tape, and i can't remember the other kind). I also like to use firm grip (a sticky grip spray). But if you don't like that you can buy athletic tape at Walmart, or any sporting goods store. OnTrack also sells a double sided sticky tape, but i have never tried it.
This year your gonna have to work twice as hard.

I've heard our trainer is crazy. I've never really had to do anything with the trainer, but i heard that at a football game someone broke their colar bone, and he looked at it and said it was a bee sting....?
Just you wait...

I usually just get mine out of the med. kits that the team brings everywhere with them.

I started using "toughskin" adhesive reactor in the to help out with my grip. I bought this from my physical therapist when I hurt my ankle for the first time this season. Before that I had used a gasket sealing spray, but that turns your hands and your pole/tape a bloody redish color
