Easy made "tools"

Unread postby distancejumper » Wed Mar 16, 2005 10:56 am

We got a good coach that makes all our extra equipment from pieces of wood and pvc pipe.

He made practice pole things from pipes to work on running form

He's also gunna make a carrying case out of some plastic pipe stuff.

He's got these climbing ropes that he's gunna attach to tires and use it as a sprint/resistance drill.

He also made some pull up bars to use for different drills.

He aslo made an indoor push box.

I was wondering if anybody else had some equipment things that are easy to make.

if you've got a pully, a rope, a small section of pvc (2.5 feet or so), you can make a 'top end aparatus'. email me if you have no idea what im talking about and i'd be glad to go into further detail.

random stuff made for pv is cool,

Go take a look at my post in the general section about Bubbas pop up drill and his "roll back" bar drill. He built that for about $50. ..........Later...........Mike

The pulley he is talking about is just like this one http://www.vaultworld.com/prsport/pvtrainer.html but you build it on your own. It is relatively simple to do, PM me if you need more help.

Ok. Thanks. I think my coach has one of those too, but I think the rope is just gunna hang over a bar.

i suggest a pulley since it will flow easier than just a bar and it will also help on wear and tear of the rope going through a pulley instead of over a bar.

My coach made another thing. It's really cool. It's like a box with a hole in it for your head to go in. then he hooked a rope to a pipe and then to a pole. we then pulled on the rope to get verticle. It's really cool.
