Pole Vault Pits Required Measurements

Unread postby Lord of the Poles » Thu Nov 04, 2004 12:51 pm

What are the minimum requirements for the length/width/etc for polevault pits in NFHS, IAAF, NCAA, and USATF rules? I tried looking online, but I can't seem to even find a section on the IAAF site for rules.

Just using this information for my manual

Try this site: http://whbtrack.netfirms.com/Event%20Co ... _Rules.pdf

Box info can be found in the USATF book (pg 189 illustrations) at:

You didn't look to hard for the IAAF rules. Here's the link at their site:
http://www.iaaf.org/downloads/IAAFhandbook/index.html
or directly to the manual at:
http://www.iaaf.org/newsfiles/23484.pdf

Sorry, but NF has not put their rule books on-line yet.. Its coming though.
