moving poles

Unread postby jhesch » Thu Apr 22, 2004 11:05 pm

alright currently i have a 415/80 and a 430/80, both ESSX. (aka 13 7 & 14 1 176 lb.) the smaller one i can grip at top from 5 left, and bigger one from 6 left, def. blow through from 7 or 8. suggestions for next pole to get? my next pole to use is a 15 160 Pacer, grippin at approx. 13' 9", definitely gives more lift, but is it safe? it has flex number of 19.6 i believe, i also have a pacer CARBON, 15 foot 160, flex number of 21.0. would it be safe to use w/ grip of maybe 13' 9"? any advice is appreciated.
