Installing an indoor plant box

Unread postby 73-vaulter » Tue May 19, 2009 8:59 pm

I seem to remember a "topic" of installing an indoor plant box. But with my weak search skills I can not find it. I think that Becky even commented on installing one at her school. We have just gotten permission to install one at the "old" High School gym. I need to know where to get one that is hidden under the wooden floor and any information about installing it.

The box itself is the same as you would use for an outdoor facility. The tricky part is figuring out how to cut the floor, get it in there, and how to make a cover out of the gym floor piece. It's not really anything anyone here can help you with, you will need to get an experienced gym floor person in there to give you a quote.

I just received permission to install a box in our gym. I'm wondering if anyone found/knows how much it would cost to put one in? How hard is it to make the cover out of the gym floor piece and how much does that cost too? Thanks.
