Training Shoes
What do you guys beleive is the best training shoe for a pole vaulter to have....one that will work for sprinting long runs and jumping too...any suggestions?...i have a pair of brooks burn 3 that i like..let me know

From a college track athlete in training...
When the program is giving you shoes, here is what I use,
I have a pair of Nikes for warm ups/lng runs, and a pair of Long distance spikes for track-running workouts.... I use long distance or mid distance spikes for running work outs on the track because they tend to have more of a heal similar to the PV lights....
I use the PV lights for vaulting, the distance spikes better resemble the feeling of the lights..... In the end result, train to run fast with what your going to be vaulting in.....
