What's the best plant box?

What's the best plant box?

Ok, skydex is out--just too expensive. What is the best plant box to install in western NY? Aluminum vs. steel, welded vs. cast, etc...

cast aluminum. won't rust and there are no welds to break.

I prefer the folded and welded stainless steel- its corrosion resistant and the surface finish is better than the cast aluminum which is easier on pole tips
