Let Me beat you to it GRIN

Dear Beto and ESSX Sport Staff
I'm writing this letter to thank you all for your exceptional effort in building my series of ESSX Vaulting poles. Your hard work and extraordinary commitment to quickly build and ship a full series of poles to my doorstep is above and beyond any other company in the Track and Field industry. The quality and the functionality of the ESSX poles that I'm now jumping on are far superior to any other pole in the entire World! I am grateful to be involved with your devoted team and have access to such high quality equipment.
Now that I have the best poles at my disposal, I hope to do my job on the track and vault to new heights.
Most sincere thanks,

Tye Harvey

We are told the Earl Bell ESSX poles are lighter and bend over better than the fastbacks designed several years ago by EARL BELL. AND TO THINK WE DID NOT MAKE 16'5" POLES LAST YEAR WORTH VAULTERS TRYING!

Such a stich Bruce

Is that a fact or promotional - Fact is Hartwig, Lobinger, Stevenson, Skipper, and all the mass of others are not jumping on the old Carbon's that Earl hand only a very small part in designing - they are jumping on Carbon FX poles. Tye Harvey's PR is not on this "Best Pole" is it Bruce? :) But - that is not what will be posted tomorrow - this will not be marketing hype - it is a twisted page out of your book :P Some on the board already knows the answer  And part two of the answer will be for the board to find

Greatest Pol

Unread postby Decamouse » Fri May 21, 2004 7:30 am

"Monica Pyrek (POL) 39 NRs--16 indoor (from 3.51m to 4.61m); 23 outdoor
(from 3.30m to 4.62m)." Hard to argue with that "Pole" O:-) according to the site I found this info - that is more than Bubka, or Stacey or anyone else. Since she is still vaulting - she could break the 40 barrier - setting a National Record - 40 times

FAct or Opinion

Unread postby Decamouse » Fri May 21, 2004 8:44 am

"Sorry our efforts to post and stimulate the sport offend you! " Bruce - I find some of your post amusing, funny, insightful - but offend - give me a break - just like to point out that there is a difference between opinion and fact - Markteting and reality - You can always spin things if you try hard enough - the "short pin world record" was set on a ??? - the new NCAA Women's Record!!! - Highest HS vault this year!!! - last two are facts as of this date- the first is true in that it is the highest vault on short pins - but is it an accepted World Record by the IAAF - no - so to post a proclamation that it is the "best" pole - opinion and marketing - I also don't need to do it in bright colors and big letters - reality is performance speaks for itself

ESSX Poles have become more popular based on performances

Unread postby Bruce Caldwell » Fri May 21, 2004 8:45 am

ESSX Poles have become more popular based on performances by individuals all over the World!

Yes we admit that 18'8 1/2" is ESSX's best jump so far. And yes Tye Harvey has jumped higher on fastback Bell Athletic poles private labeled by GILL. Tye Harvey has had his poles now for about 4 weeks and we look forward to him jumping higher.
Only a hand full of top vaulters have tried the ESSX poles.

More top High school vaulters every day in each state have had tremendous success after switching to our poles.

A good measure of which Company has the best vaulting pole may be a measure of:
1. How many athletes use them (Spirit sells more poles by brand?)
2. How high athletes obtain fast Personal Records. (Gill and UCS have the most poles no matter the brand out there)
3. The World Record (Spirit has that)
4. It may also be a measure of how the whole line works to provide personal records for all.
5. It may even be based on the ease of transition from pole to pole.
6. Or even maybe how many places in the state track meet are on a particular brand?

I am sure we all offer something beneficial to the industry in at least one of the categories.

As for the vaulters on your list DECAMOUSE they are all potential Olympians and I think good jumps right now will help the sport no matter what pole they are on.
It is difficult to determine how the pole was designed whether FX new, FX old, fastback, sky pole design, Pacer design, new flex system, old flex system or however can based on the label on the pole. My posts are not intended to be a slam to other brand poles but a post to acknowledge that World Class Vaulters, potential Olympians are switching poles and trying ESSX.
Sorry our efforts to post and stimulate the sport offend you!

We would never take a position as you to defame athletes performances and achievements on other products.

We stand by our efforts to provide a talent enhancing product. Our post as well as our products are there to promote the sport and to promote good vaulting! Reality is performance will speak for its self!

Oh I see it is not what I say that bothers you it is just the bright colors and big letters lol??1353
