Altius poles
Moderator: Barto
My coach is getting new poles for next year and I have been using a 14’ 155 pacer and I do not know the flex number. I was gripping at 13’ because it was rated at my body weight and it just felt too soft when I went up a grip. I was wondering how altius pole compare to pacer. The few times I did get inverted I beat the pole to inversion and it felt like a rocket so I definitely wouldn’t want to get on a slower pole. If they are similar enough I would like to go with the altius because my school doesn’t have the best pole selection and then we would be able to get more then two poles.

pacers are faster moving poles on my altius it feels like it takes a while for the pole to go to verticle, but ucs poles are good, and essx poles are good if you want a little bit more speed, but altius are good to begin on, very easy to change to a bigger pole if it is altius
