I have a 15'6 170 carbonFX, but that's too soft. And the next pole I have to move up to is a 15'6 180 carbonFX, but everytime I've tried to get on that I've ended up back on the runway. I also have 3 16' spirits (175,180 & 185). Any suggestions on what pole I should work with (I don't have the $ to be buying any new sticks and my school is cheap.) or any new approaches to getting on the sticks I have? Sorry for not putting down the flex #'s.
if what you need is a 15-6 75, then the equivalent in a 16'er would be a 16-165 this is using the reasoning that ideally you would go from a 15-6 175 to a 16-170 and that would be like going from a 16-165 to a 16-170. of course the switch between brands makes it more tricky. so, in my opinion the right progression would be from the 70 to the 80 then to the 16' sticks, but again, i have never gone from pacer to spirit. but if the weight ratings are similar the 16-175 should be a bigger pole than the 15-6 180.
