Carbon FX Pole to Give Away

Unread postby romanowskib » Wed Aug 22, 2007 2:34 pm

Hello,

I’m a Registrar at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York. In 2005, we had an exhibition called Extreme Textiles: Designing for High Performance. In the exhibit, we displayed a Carbon FX pole vaulting pole. After the exhibit, the pole was given to the museum by the manufacturer. Because the pole is not appropriate for our collection, we are looking for a home for it. We are willing to give it away on a first come, first serve basis. The only condition is that the recipient pays for shipping.

Below is the pole information. Please contact me at 212.849.8432 or romanowskib@si.edu if you are interested.

Thanks for your generous offer. Can we assume that the guys at Gill don't want it back?

Still available?
Fight the good fight: It's nice to be great but it's far greater to be nice.
