Shipping Pole Vaults

Unread postby vanner » Fri Nov 10, 2006 10:05 am

How does everyone ship their pole vaults to their comptetions around the world? I am a pole vaulter from Canada and it's always a pain getting my pole vaults to and from my competitions. Airlines just won't take them any more as checked baggage and shipping companies (ie. UPS-SCS) are so expensive. Any ideas would be great, thanks!

That might help, however call up the airlines and ask.. and if you do fly with them, make sure they all are in tubes...

The elites I know all fly with them. Sometimes they make it, sometimes they don't.
