Whose up for inventing some sort of sticky glove that keeps the hands warm for accessable outdoor pole vault in the cold?

I've used football recievers' gloves for some swing drills before...never to vault, though.

I can guarantee that they'll be sticky...but not that they'll keep your hands warm (they do eliminate the sting from the cold).

i am not sure about this, but i think gloves that are stickey are illegal....there are rules that deal with the tape to ensure there isn't a better grip, but i am not sure with gloves.

yeah i checked into it last year with the State director, and i was informed that they are illegal... and in practice i was tempted to try... lol but the instint i lifted the pole tip ... i sat it right back down .... i just didnt have the feeling you need to control the vault ... i guess its all in the head though
