How hard will this pole be to get on?
Okay, currently im on a 14 170 pacer fx and im blowing through it(big bend and landing basically at the end of the mats) so my school ordered some new poles all ucs spirit poles the poles are 15 175 15 180 16 180 and the pole came in and ill be able to try them in a few days well try the 15 175 that is and i was just wondering exactly how difficult will it be to get on that pole? I am 6'2 165 pounds if that helps. I am really strong and run pretty fast for a sophmoore. We also have a 15 165 pacer carbon pole but i tried it and it threw me back haha please reply! thanks!

Those will be all tough poles to get on. Start with the 165. You will likely need some 14 6 poles to work on

I know it's going to be hard but do you think it is possible for me to get on the 15 175?

Go to a shorter run on the 14' pole first. When you're blowing through it from 4 or 5 lefts, then you can try backing up to 7 lefts on the 15'175... it will probably still be pretty tough though. Don't swing upside down until you've taken a bunch of vaults where you're making it in the pit easily. You really would benefit from borrowing some bigger 14's or 14'6s to help you make the transition. The 15'175 will feel approximately 25 pounds stiffer than the 14'170.

Great answer! Thank you very much, thats probably what I was trying to get from someone that its possible and I can try.
Yeah right now I jump from about 6 lefts and I bend it so much I usually jog down the runway with it cause im afraid if I go full speed it will snap.
Ill try what you said ill shorten my steps and if everything the same ill try the 15 175 and go full speed and try to get as free a takeoff as possible and hopfully get on the matt!

You should post video. If a 14ft pole is overbending even on a blow through you may need to work on you body position at take off before moving to the 15ft poles. Someone as tall as you a 14ft pole should never over bend as long as your not leaning back or sinking into the takeoff.
