Pole transition
I currently use a 12' pole, and i hold it at the very end. I am able to vault 11' with that pole, but i want a longer pole because im gunna try to vault at least 12'6'' this year. i want a 13'6'' pole, but im not sure if that'll be too long or too short. I would appreciate it if i could get some help, basically i wanna kno wat pole length u guys think i should get. if u need anymore info let me kno

That will be too long.
Check this out to get a comparison of how much bigger the next pole would be.

I am assuming you are a boy, and you are probably young and still growing, so I would probably go with a 13' pole.

Re: Pole transition
It's the energy created in the run, take-off, swing, and extension that gives you a clearance, not pole length. Stay on the same pole until it's too small (peaking behind 80cm).

The size of the pole is relative to your size, speed, and technique. You can't just grab a 13'6 pole and expect to vault higher, you'll just land on your butt on the runway.
I had a boy clear 13' last year on a 13' pole and then he was ready for 13'6 poles.
I don't know how high you can clear on a 12' pole, because as your technique gets better, you will start needing a bigger pole. You don't need to move to a bigger pole until you are blowing through this one with your standards all the way back. A 12' pole is pretty short for a boy, so I think once you can blow through it holding at the top handhold label, you will be about ready for a 13' pole gripping at 12' (not at the top).
A 13'150 is a good next pole, but remember that it is a bigger pole, so don't go to it until you are blowing through the smaller one.
