Unread postby spill21 » Sun Mar 16, 2008 9:31 pm

When would somebody buy a new pole tip and is there any brand that is better than another?

If any part of the pole has busted through you definitely need a new one. If the plastic/rubber is wearing thin I would get another to have ready for when it busts through.

I am partial to the Gill tips, but it doesn't really matter that much.
